Fall Programming 2023

KEMC will be launching fall programming in September.

​

  • Sunday School for all ages - September 17 @ 9:30 AM

  • Jr. Youth for Grades 6-8 - September 20 @ 6:30 PM

  • Sr. Youth for Grades 9-12 - September 21 @ 7:00 PM

  • Dino Dash (Fundraiser for Safe Families Steinbach) on Saturday, September 23 from 4-7 PM @ A.D. Penner Park

  • LINK for Grades 3-5 - September 27 @ 6:30 PM

Fall Update

​

“There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens:”                                         Ecclesiastes 3:1

​

 

It feels as if the nights are getting a little cooler which means fall will be upon us soon.  This means a number of things for us at KEMC, including some significant changes.

 

After 17 years as Associate and Senior Pastor at KEMC, Pastor Pete will be transitioning out of his pastoral role.  He and Irene plan to stay in Kleefeld and be a part of KEMC, but Peter will be opening a counseling practice at his home office in Kleefeld.  

 

As a church, we have appreciated Pastor Pete’s years of serving God and this church, along with his family, and wish him well as he makes this transition.  There will be an appreciation service for Pete and Irene and their family on Sunday, September 10th, followed by a potluck.

 

We also celebrate that God has brought Greg and Daniella Klassen and their kids to our church.  Greg will be stepping into the role of Senior Pastor beginning in September.  We look forward to his ministry in our church alongside Lyndol and Jen.

 

Our final summer service (and Pete’s last sermon) will be Thursday, August 31st at 7 PM.  Since it is a long weekend, there will be no service on September 3rd.  Starting September 10th our Sunday services will begin at 10:45 AM.

​

 

Start-up dates for our kids and youth programs:

 

• Sunday School for all ages will begin on September 17th, 9:30 AM

• Jr. Youth (grades 6-8) begins Wednesday, Sept. 20th at 6:30 PM

• Sr. Youth (grades 9-12) begins Thursday, Sept. 21st at 7:30 PM

• LINK (grades 3-5) begins Wednesday, Sept. 27th at 6:30 PM
